In an effort to raise awareness and funds, the Climate for Development in African Programme (ClimDev-Africa) is holding a high level roundtable on 16 April 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden. The event will focus on mobilizing resources for the ClimDev-Africa Special Fund established to pool resources and finance demand-driven projects in Africa that aim to generate and disseminate climate information at all levels.
ClimDev-Africa is a joint strategic initiative of the African Development Bank (AfDB), the African Union Commission (AUC) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). These same institutions are hosting the event with host, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
