Ethiopia: Heavy Casualties After Attack on Market in Tigray - Report

Cape Town — There has been heavy casualties after an airstrike on a market in Tigray, according to BBC.

Government forces have struck the town of Togoga, near the regional capital of Mekelle.

The region has been the site of a conflict that started in November 2020, after elections were delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The military was reportedly targeting opposition forces.
