Event — The African Development Bank Group, with financial support from Climate Investment Funds and technical support from Neyen Consulting, is launching an initiative that aims to guide the implementation of a just transition in Africa. As part of this process, the Bank is reaching out to stakeholders via a series of roundtable meetings.

We wish to invite seasoned experts and innovative thinkers from a range of countries and professional sectors to join us for these discussions. The objectives of the meetings are:

  • To create a collaborative platform for thought leadership.
  • To foster a shared understanding and promote collaboration.
  • To build consensus about a just transition and how to implement it in various contexts across Africa.

Roundtable participants are encouraged to be active and engaged agents in this process. Participants will work together on outputs which will be made available to the public through the project webpage.

We encourage all interested stakeholders to stay engaged with the project via its webpage. Roundtable meeting notes will be made available to foster dialogue and knowledge sharing. There will also be opportunities for public feedback on the outputs produced by participants.
