The Gender, Women and Civil Society Department of the African Development Bank, in partnership with the Japan Policy and Human Resources Development Grant, will launch a bootcamp for African women entrepreneurs to enhance their business management skills.

Some 1000 African women entrepreneurs registered through the 50 Million African Women Speak Platform will benefit from the training. It is designed to empower them to effectively manage their businesses, increase profits, and explore new partnership opportunities through networking. This bootcamp is also open to investors, civil society organizations, and development partners.

The session will feature past beneficiaries sharing their experiences and the benefits derived from the program.

The event agenda includes:

1. Introduction to the 50 Million African Women Speak Platform and its resources for African women entrepreneurs

2. Presentation of the course curriculum consisting of six modules for participants, along with details of the coaching and mentoring program

3. Inspiring stories from former training beneficiaries.

4. A Q&A session for participants to learn more about the program's content.

About 50 million African Women Speak Platform

The 50 million African Women Speak Platform is a social media site accessible at www.womenconnect.org and as a mobile application (50 MAWSP). The platform offers more than 3000 resources for African women entrepreneurs, including business knowledge, legal advice, funding opportunities, and networking spaces.
