The African Development Bank will hold the 8th edition of the Africa Energy Market Place (AEMP) in Nigeria on the theme "Towards Nigeria's Sustainable Energy Future: Policy, Investment, and Regulation".

The conference provides a vital platform for key stakeholders including government institutions, development partners and the private sector to exchange ideas on fostering priority sector reforms, promoting sustainable growth, and catalyzing investments for a transformative energy sector. It will serve as a crucial policy dialogue platform to gather stakeholder input for developing Nigeria's National Integrated Electricity Policy and Strategic Implementation Plan (NIEP-SIP).

The event will take the form of an online technical consultation session, to be held 15-18 April 2024, and a physical event, which will take place 7-8 May 2024 at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, Nigeria. The meetings will facilitate robust decision-making while fostering knowledge sharing and learning among participants.
