What: Launch of the Youth Community of Practice (Y-COP) Platform & Intergenerational Dialogue

The Y-COP is a new knowledge hub platform for African and global youth to engage in critical thinking and peer-to-peer learning, while identifying evidence-based youth solutions to build resilient and sustainable growth in Africa.

The launch event will be marked by an "Intergenerational Dialogue on Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development in Africa", to galvanize an intergenerational panel to forge innovative solutions for the continent's pressing challenges.

Key objectives:

  • Bridge the generational gap in African development discourse and practice
  • Curate and harness intergenerational knowledge, dynamism and wisdom to address and co-create innovative solutions for Africa's most pressing challenges.
  • Lay the groundwork for a new era of inclusive, sustainable growth, with youth at the core.
