Philip Morris International (PMI) in Senegal, along with its affiliates in Central and West Africa, has been recognized for the tenth consecutive year as a Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute.

This prestigious recognition highlights PMI's unwavering commitment to its people, its corporate culture, and its transformation ambitions. It also reaffirms the Group's position as an employer of choice, capable of meeting the expectations of a global, multigenerational, and constantly evolving workforce.

The Top Employer certification is awarded following a rigorous assessment of best HR practices across six major domains, including HR strategy, work environment, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, and talent development.

On this occasion, Adrian Seligman, CEO of the Top Employers Institute, stated:  "Achieving a Country Top Employer Certification for 2026 reflects PMI's dedication to building an outstanding workplace that enables sustained business performance. Their strong alignment between people strategy and organisational goals, combined with a commitment to continuous improvement, demonstrates the impact of their transformative practices. We are proud to recognise PMI for their meaningful contribution to a better world of work in Senegal."  This distinction also reflects a strong local approach to people development.

Thierno Diallo, Managing Director for Central and West Africa, emphasized:  "Being recognized as a Top Employer for the tenth consecutive year in our region is a tremendous collective achievement. It reflects our commitment to building an inclusive, highperforming, and growthdriven culture. This success demonstrates our ability to implement global standards of excellence while remaining attentive to the realities and specific needs of our local teams. Our employees are our greatest asset and the driving force behind our performance. We will continue fostering an environment that encourages innovation, personal growth, and professional development for everyone."

Jean Fabrice Kacou, Human Resources Director, added:  "This recognition is fully aligned with our peoplecentric corporate culture, built on strong values that ensure every employee feels respected, heard, engaged, and proud to be part of PMI. Our ambition is to enable each individual to give their best while building a meaningful career."

This regional certification is part of a broader global dynamic of excellence. Following the independent evaluation by the Top Employers Institute, PMI's parent company, Philip Morris International, was also recognized among the 17 organizations awarded the Global Top Employer certification — a distinction the Group has now received for the tenth consecutive year.

Additionally, PMI affiliates were certified in 32 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and AsiaPacific, confirming the consistency and strength of the Group's HR practices worldwide.

The Top Employers Institute is a global authority in HR strategy and people practices. Through its recognized certifications and datadriven insights, it supports organizations in transforming their workplaces to foster performance, growth, and talent retention for longterm success.
