South Africa's Hout Bay in Lockdown as Violent Protests Escalate

The informal settlement of Imizamo Yethu in Cape Town's Hout Bay has seen the roads being blocked and tyres and informal structures set alight. Protesters are calling on the provincial government to make good on promises made to residents when the settlement was destroyed by fire in March this year.
