Ugandan President Museveni Defends Age Limit Amendment

President Yoweri Museveni has met with parliament's legal affairs committee at State House in Entebbe to discuss a proposed constitutional amendment which would extend the age limit for presidential candidates. Museveni told the committee that the presence of age limits for any elective office goes against Article 1 of the 1995 Constitution which says "power belongs to the people".
