Nigeria: Government to Train Candidates On Rail Engineering in China

Experts say that Nigeria would end up becoming a dumping ground for rail contractors if they were only employed to provide infrastructure without qualified staff to operate and maintain it. With this in mind, the government is initiating a recruitment drive for candidates between the ages of 17 and 20 years, who are interested in rail engineering as a career, to undergo a five-year Bachelor of Science degree in Railway Engineering, in China.
