Master of Disguise Tackles High-Level Crime in Africa

Disguised in public with colourful beads and headcovers to protect his face from recognition, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is a mythical figure in the African media scene. He has dressed up as a rock to film cocoa smugglers along Ghana's western border, has tackled sex trade and corruption in the Ghanaian judiciary, child adoption, abuse and trafficking, illegal gold mining, and trafficking in albino body parts, among other issues. In Ghana, he is a superhero, the modern day crime fighter who wears facemasks and wigs in public to protect his identity.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas was the keynote speaker at the Africa Youth Excellence Awards.
