Statue of footballer Mo Salah draws online ridicule.
A sculpture of the Egyptian international and Liverpool footballer which was unveiled in his country has caused a stir on social media. The statue depicts the footballer with his arms out wide in the goal-scoring celebration for which he is known. Some say it doesn't look like Mo Salah - but then who does it look like?
The Pharaohs and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was the top club scorer in Europe last year, scoring 44 goals for Liverpool and he is the current African Player of the Year. The winner will be announced in London on September 24th.
