Meet One of Africa's Most Influential Artists of the 20th Century

Ben Enwonwu is a household name in Nigeria. The painter and sculptor was one of the first modern African artists to win international critical acclaim. Enwonwu's Tutu painting, often dubbed the "African Mona Lisa," went missing for more than 40 years before turning up in a London apartment last year. The painting sold for U.S.$1.6 million.
