Why Opposition's Atiku Was Searched At Abuja Airport - Presidency

The government says there is no ulterior motive behind the search of the presidential candidate of the opposition People's Democratic Party Atiku Abubakar and his staff at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport. Abubakar alleged that the move was meant to harass and intimidate him and his supporters. Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika has described the claims as a mischievous attempt to grab headlines as all incoming passengers on international flights go through customs, immìgration, health and security screening.
