Nigeria Struggles With No Jobs, Extreme Poverty
Nigeria's unemployment numbers jumped by nearly 30% this year to 16 million, according to a November report by the National Bureau of Statistics. At least two million people are expected to be unemployed by the end of the year, Timothy Obiezu reports for Voice of America. This year Nigeria overtook India as having the world's largest population of people living in extreme poverty.
