Sexual Violence Allegations Rock South Africa's Ruling Party

The African National Congress's national working committee has called on their Acting Spokesperson Zizi Kodwa and his predecessor Pule Mabe to step aside. The two are facing allegations of sexual violence, with Mabe being accused of sexual harassment by his former personal assistant, while claims of rape have been made against Kodwa, who is also head of the ANC's presidential office. Mabe was found not guilty by a party grievance panel. It doesn't help that the ANC has no sexual harassment policy in place.
