Shake-Up for Nigeria's Textile Industries

A whopping U.S.$4 billion is spent annually on importing textiles into the country. With the growing campaign to buy locally manufactured goods, the Central Bank of Nigeria has placed restrictions on textile importers by ensuring that they are no longer able to access foreign exchange through the forex market.
