Opposition leaders have called for a united opposition to remove President Museveni from power ahead of the 2021 elections. Mugisha Muntu of the Alliance for National Transformation, Norbert Mao, the Democratic Party president, and Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi, said they can only put up a formidable fight against the incumbent if they are united.
