Nigerian Senate Hikes, Passes 2019 Budget
The Senate has increased the 2019 budget to U.S.$29 billion after boosting its expenditure on security to help the government combat rising militancy and kidnapping. President Muhammadu Buhari needs to sign the budget for it can be implemented.
