Ethiopian Airlines Plane in Landing Drama in Lagos

An Ethiopian Airlines plane avoided crashing in the commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos, thanks to expert piloting, according to passengers. An initial landing attempt was aborted due to strong winds and a heavy downpour.The pilot made another attempt and landed safely on Wednesday. Former president Olusegun Obasanjo was among the nearly-400 passengers and described his experience to AllAfrica's media partner, Premium Times, despite some reports that he was not on the flight.
