Tackling Maternal Deaths in Nigeria Using Technology, Birth Kits

According to a 2015 report by the United Nations, Nigeria is one of the most dangerous places in the world to give birth. The HelpMum organisation gives gives pregnant women in underserved communities birth kits that will help them when they are giving birth. Helpmum also uses an automated system to remind pregnant women of their dates for antenatal visits and, later, of vaccination dates.
