Burning Tyres and Blocked Routes During Cape Housing Protests

Demonstraters are protesting against the housing conditions of people living in backyards and the lack of access to land and housing. Residents of several areas in the city, including Tafelsig, Eastridge, Ocean View, Elsies Rivier and Delft, have been unable to get to work and school.
