Nigeria Fights To Keep Assets From Seizure in Gas Project Row

The Nigerian government will open an investigation after a UK court paved the way for a private firm to seize more than U.S.$9 billion in government assets over a failed gas deal. Process and Industrial Developments Ltd had sued the Nigerian government for breaching the agreement by failing to provide the gas or install the promised pipelines in Calabar.
