Child Recounts Ordeal In South African Restaurant Rape Case

The seven-year-old girl who was allegedly raped in the bathroom of a Pretoria restaurant in 2018 has testified in camera about the ordeal in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria. Her testimony, which detailed a different sequence of events to that of Nicholas Ninow, who pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, meant that the matter would go to trial.
