Africa Joins Millions in Global Climate Strikes

As world leaders begin arriving for a summit at the United Nations on accelerating action to address climate threats, adults are planning to join students in an unprecedented wave of youth-led climate protests. Some 5,200 strikes are planned in about 156 countries, organisers say - with over 100 actions planned across the African continent.
