U.S. Ban on Zimbabwe Diamonds Mischievous - Govt
The U.S. has banned the trade of artisanal rough cut diamonds from Marange on allegations that they were produced using forced labour as problems continue to mount on President Emmerson Mnangagwa's government. Zimbabwe has faced U.S. sanctions for almost two decades and Mnangagwa has blamed the embargoes for the deteriorating economic situation in the country.
