Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Somalian social rights activist Ilwad Elman and Libyan law student Hajer Sharief are among the nominees for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize. While the Ethiopian leader is said to be a bookmarkers' favourite, a Norwegian research organisation has predicted that Elman could be this year's winner.
