Nigeria Angry Over U.S.$100 Million Repairs for National Assembly

Following the signing of the 2020 Appropriation Bill by President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerians went on social media to express their displeasure over U.S.$100 million set aside to renovate the National Assembly complex. Premium Times reports that the plan to spend money on repairing just one building at a time when key infrastructure, hospitals and schools across the country remain in terrible shape angered many Nigerians.
