Tanzania's President John Magufuli has fired Home Affairs Minister, Kangi Lugola, for entering into a contract valued at U.S.$245 million, without input from the finance or planning ministries, or parliament. The president also sacked the Commissioner-General for the Tanzania Fire and Rescue Force, Thobias Andengenye, who also signed the dubious contract.
