Proposal to Reintegrate 'Repentant' Boko Haram Fighters Slammed

A bill seeking the integration of former Boko Haram fighters back into society, has been submitted to the Nigerian parliament. It proposes the establishment of a commission that will oversee the education and reintegration of repentant militants. Despite criticism, at least 1,400 suspected Boko Haram insurgents were recently released by the government.
