African Govts Failing in Provision of Water, Sanitation - Survey

A new analysis shows that on average more than half of Africans have to leave their homes to access water, and only a quarter have access to sewage infrastructure. Afrobarometer says its findings from surveys in 34 African countries, released in advance of World Water Day on March 22, show that there has been little progress towards UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
