Tanzanian Journalist Maxence Melo Found Guilty of Obstruction

A Kisutu magistrate's court has convicted award-winning journalist and JamiiForum co-founder, Maxence Mello of obstructing investigations by the police into information he posted on his social media page concerning the OilCom firm. He has been ordered to either pay a U.S.$1,296.461 fine or serve a one year jail sentence.
