During uncertain times it's normal to think of our own immediate needs and forget that of our neighbours and communities, but not for Judy Murambinda, a kindhearted Zimbabwean domestic worker living in South Africa who, in an inspiring act of kindness, took it upon herself to donate nearly half her monthly salary to other Zimbabweans in need. Murambinda, who gets a R7,500-a-month (U.S.$403) salary, decided to use R3,000 (U.S.$161) of her salary to buy electricity and food for gardeners, domestic workers and street hawkers who she said were bearing the brunt of the COVID-19 lockdown.
