Ethiopian Survivors of Migrant Container Tragedy Repatriated

The International Organization for Migration says it has helped repatriate 11 Ethiopians who escaped death after having been locked in the container of a smuggler's truck. In a tragedy that shook the African continent, the remains of 64 migrants from Ethiopia were found locked in a container at the back of a truck, discovered on March 24 near Tete, Mozambique after crossing over the Malawi-Mozambique border.
