Lockdown to Ease in South Africa, Ramaphosa Admits 'Mistakes'

President Cyril Ramaphosa has said that mistakes were made by the government in its enforcement of the national COVID-19 lockdown, which has been described as inconsistent and too harsh. "Since the imposing of the lockdown, government has been criticised for its decisions, lack of transparency in how decisions have been taken," Ramaphosa said.
