Produce More Food, No Money for Imports, Buhari Urges Farmers

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari is urging farmers to produce more food to feed the nation. Even before the novel coronavirus, the country restricted food importation as it aimed at producing most of the food locally. Borders with neighbouring countries were also shut in an attempt at stopping the illegal smugglling of goods that included rice and poultry, writes Oge Udegbunam for Premim Times.
