Is Kenyatta Clearing Way For Odinga With Ruling Party Purges?

Anxiety is mounting among ruling Jubilee Party members as a National Executive Council meeting nears, it will reportedly endorse changes made in the party's parliamentary leadership as well as house committees and address indiscipline members. Opposition leader, Raila Odinga, has on the other hand announced the end of the road for the National Super Alliance party, the coalition on whose ticket he vied for the presidency in 2017, saying it has outlived its usefulness after failing to capture power, and that each member party is now "independently crafting its own matrix".
