All Kigali Motorcycle Taxis Go Cashless
The development is reportedly part of the national motorcycle transport strategy to introduce a cashless based payment system for taxi-moto operators building on the success of "Tap-and-go" payment system, which is deployed on public commuter buses in Kigali. The taxi motos are expected to resume operations on June 1, after they were temporarily suspended to curb the novel coronavirus pandemic.
