Nigeria Govt Stands By Matric Exam Ban

Minister of Education Adamu Adamu explained that the government is concerned about the spread of COVID-19, should it allow the learners to congregate for the examinations, organised by the West African Examination Council, and scheduled from August 2020 to September 5, 2020. Meanwhile, the House of Representatives, private school owners and parents, are calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to order the partial reopening of schools, to allow learners to write.
