Power Outages a Stumbling Block for Nigerian Small Businesses

According to the World Bank, the cost of power shortages in Nigeria is estimated at approximately U.S.$29 billion. The figure is equivalent to 2% of the country's Gross Domestic Product. The Bank says that about 47% of Nigerians do not have access to grid electricity and those who do have access, face regular power cuts, writes Oladeinde Olawoyin for Premium Times.
