Possible Measles Outbreak in Burkina Faso With Hundreds Infected
In less than two months there have been more than one thousand suspected cases of the disease in the country, with several deaths reported. The highly contagious disease has been diagnosed mainly in Burkina Faso's central region. In 2023, the ministry in charge of health reported 2,190 suspected cases, out of which 960 were confirmed.
