Fear of Attacks in Northern Mozambique Triggers Mass Displacement

The UN has warned that nearly 100,000 people, including more than 60,000 children, have been forced to move due to "attacks and fear of attacks" in the northern Mozambican province of Cabo Delgado. The Southern African nation has been grappling with violence caused by "non-state armed groups" in the region since 2017- as well as the adverse impacts of the climate emergency - forcing the dispacement of 1.2 million people.
