How Proposed U.S. Travel Ban Will Affect African Nations

The U.S government is reportedly considering restricting entry into the U.S. for citizens of more than 40 countries, including many African nations. The plan categorizes the countries into three groups on their perceived security risks and government effectness.

Citizens from countries on the "Red List" will be completely barred from entering the U.S.; those on the "Orange List" will be restricted; while the "Yellow Listed" countries are given up to 60 days to address security deficiencies or risk being barred.
