UN Secretary-General António Guterres has announced an investigation into the March 6 missile attack on a Ghanaian peacekeeping base in Lebanon. The move follows a formal complaint by the Ghanaian government, which demanded an inquiry into the strike that injured four soldiers during the ongoing conflict involving Israel, Iran, and the United States.
The wounded peacekeepers received initial treatment at a medical bunker before being evacuated to the UN Mission's referral hospital in Beirut. The remaining troops have been moved to underground bunkers for safety.
