What Next for Kenya's Much-Debated Finance Bill?

National Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has cautioned that some narratives circulating around the Bill are misleading and risk distorting public understanding of the proposed fiscal reforms.

His remarks come as Parliament concludes public participation after the lapse of the two-week window period that saw consultations with stakeholders, industry groups, and members of the public on the proposed tax measures shaping the 2026/27 fiscal framework.
