Libya Political Process Regains Momentum, But 'Progress Fragile'

Briefing the Security Council, Hanna Tetteh, the Secretary-General's Special Representative for Libya and head of the UN Support Mission (UNSMIL), described the UNSMIL-facilitated road map - covering elections, institutional unification, security, economic reform and national reconciliation - as "not merely a political imperative" but "a viable path" out of the country's institutional paralysis.
