The present report is submitted pursuant to paragraphs 6 and 13 to 16 of Security Council resolution 1556 of 30 July, 2004. In resolution 1556, the Security Council called on the Government of Sudan to fulfill immediately all of the commitments it made in the Joint Communiqué issued by the Government of Sudan and the United Nations on 3 July 2004.
