From wearables and vehicles to virtual reality and robots, the Vivatech Paris tech fair puts the latest innovations on display. On its first day, French President Emmanuel Macron announces a plan to plough 65 million euros ($76 million) into startups in Africa. Several such businesses are showcasing at the expo, which brings together innovators, investors and entrepreneurs.
