Liberia: FIDO Visits Black Gate Home

-Delivers July 26 Gifts To Chronic Viral Illnesses Victims

Members and executives of local community-based organizations, the Friends Indeed Organization International (FIDO) on Saturday, July 30, 2022, paid a humanitarian surprise visit to the home of people suffering from chronic viral illnesses at the Missionaries of Charities popularly known as 'Black Gated 'to share with them gifts for their Independence Holiday.

Making the presentation of the gifts which included several bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, cartons of laundry and washing soap, the President of FIDO, Mrs. Hawa Mulbah, said the donation to them was the organization's own way of showing love and concern to their fellow Liberians in observing of this year's July 26 Independence Day celebration.

Responding to the visiting group from FIDO, a spokesperson for victims of chronic viral illnesses, expressed thanks and appreciation to FIDO for thinking of them during this holiday period and further called on them to always keep them in prayers during their difficult days.

FIDO was established 2006 by a group of humanitarian women who are passionate for the well-being of their fellow Liberians; years later men with the same dream joined them, and since then, the organization has been providing such services to the neediest.
