WE REJECT THE RMOVING OF AJAMI HAUSA ARABIC TRANSCRIPT ON SOME NIGERIAN CURRENCY
The removing of "Ajami" Hausa Arabic text on some Nigerian currency is unacceptable to the Northerners, more especially a typical Hausa and Hausa Fulani.
Arabic script is an alphanumerical used to form a word in order to read and understand the full meaning of the holy Quran because it was written in Arabic text, more over; it is also a formation of language used to understand each other within the Arab community. This Arabic language and text exist for the past several years.
Scholars in the Northern part of Nigeria, for long used Arabic scripts to create a way of writing Hausa language.
This way of writing was given a special name as "AJAMI meaning Hausa in Arabic script. Although it is Arabic letters but not Arabic language, what I will like to point out here is that, the formation of "Ajami" occurred before colonialisation by British.
Arabs probably entered Northern part of Nigeria while spreading Islam. However, most of people were pagans and remained so until the beginning of the last century, when the Fulani Empire and the Moslem religion over the whole land north of the forest. Since that time, Islam has been spread by wondering Hausa traders and priests. Whatever they went such men prepared their little prayer-ground near market. A few pagans would become interested in the custom of regular prayer and then a mosque would be built
Base on this assertion we can say the knowledge so Arabic alphabet and format flourished. The existence of Arabic text and teaching continuous, the teaching of Arabic alphabet was made by Arabs to acknowledge the Northerners in order to read and understand full meaning of the holy Quran. The knowledge was presently for the past century.
These Northern great grand scholars used Ajami and spread the knowledge to Hausa, Hausa Fulani for them to understand and to know how to read and write a letter so as to record information and also to find the Arabic word easily in terms of reading.
We need to differentiate the two i.e. The Arabic text and Hausa Arabic script Ajami. These varies because of several reason: The reason here is that, providing a twenty naira that was written with ajami meanwhile Hausa Arabic script ,if an Arab man was ask to explain the information conveyed, he can only read and pronounce base on the alphabet given since it was an Arabic alphabet but unfortunately he cannot understand the meaning because it is not Arabic word, but if it is written in Arabic word like ;"ESH-RU-NA NAIRAT" meaning twenty naira, the Arab man will quickly grasp the meaning.
Hausa in Arabic text" Ajami" will be pronounced as "NAIRA ESHI-RIN" meaning twenty naira, but only the spelling varies. Therefore it can never be the same, more so, the first one is Arabic language while the second one is Hausa language but in Ajami format.
We cant accept the removing of Hausa Arabic transcript because, this may result to confusion and difficulties in identifying the currency by who are living in rural area, and this is because most of the Northerners who live in rural area were ignorant about English alphabet and language.
Base on this, how those people could differentiate certain amount of currency without indicating this Ajami text on it.
The removing of this Ajami script will not be accepted.
Let Mr. President; Good Luck Jonathan and CBN Governor to please take action on reprinting of Ajami script on Nigerian currency as soon as possible for him to be nationalist not selfish.

DID AFRICA GET INDEPENDENCE BY THE EUROPEANS?
Actually there are Independence in Africa Politically but practically and sincerely, we don't have any Independence; This is because, when you look at it, there are some non-African people that uses the idea of dictatorship and using there power because of there interest to give there own directives to African leaders to run there government which in return to favor only the leaders of Africa as there rewords. This issue really affects Africa .However, they dint want Africans to standardize there Democracy/Election because they don't want the Unity of Africa and whenever there is Unity, development and peace will flourish. Moreover, when African leadership standardize there Democracy/elections, most of Africans citizens will enjoy the sweetness of Independence in there Country. In conclusion; European gave African's there independence as a name not in practice. With revert to what happen recently when Nigeria got her independent per say, imagine how Bomb was exploded at the ceremonial ground in Abuja, is that Independence? Is Nigeria in particular getting independence?
The answer is No. well, for me Nigeria got independence for Bombardment and insecurity. However; if I were ask whether Nigeria or Africa get independence, I will answer No because nothing like independence in such kind of countries. Though Nigeria obtained award and independence in stealing and corruptions in the country both politically and strategically.
